The Silent Banquet guide

Cross-check banquet clues and name the culprit, means, and place. The daily feast uses the same clues for everyone.

Rules and controls are on the how-to page

Triple-deduction basics

The Silent Banquet asks for culprit, means, and place. Strike unused means and people who were elsewhere first—each elimination shrinks the grid fast.

Rule-out marks do not affect scoring. Toggle them freely, and re-check the whole clue set whenever one clue removes multiple options.

About the daily banquet

Today’s Banquet is date-locked, so everyone shares the same clues. Share the prompt (not the answer) as a daily logic quiz.

Practice mode offers other banquets. Deciding which of the three axes to clear first makes the daily case steadier.

All three axes score separately

Culprit, means, and place are worth 25 points each, added independently. You keep the points for whichever axes you got right, even without a full solve. So “I am not sure about any of it” is never a reason to answer carelessly—lock in the axis you actually deduced. Two axes right is already 50 points.

The time bonus starts at 15 and falls by one every 25 seconds, reaching zero at about six minutes. The hint penalty is 15—again exactly the full time bonus. An early hint is expensive, but once you are past six minutes the time bonus is already spent, so a hint costs you 15 and nothing else.

A full solve pays 14 kingdom points plus a quarter of your score. A partial pays “correct axes × 3 + an eighth of the score,” with a floor of 1. Rule-out marks never affect scoring, so use them freely to think.
