Preparing the game…
About this game
Use rumors and market sense to bid across eight lots and grow your purse.
For players who like risky one-shot bids
Essential rules
- Read two appraisers’ rumors for each lot.
- Optionally spend an appraisal use for a tighter range.
- Submit one sealed bid—or pass—against rival merchants.
- The scouting notebook records revealed bids. Optional risk guidance uses public price bounds, not guaranteed wins or profits.
- Finish eight lots with the highest purse you can keep.
Tips
- Compare rumor trust with the risk of overpaying.
- Bold rivals may inflate prices; don’t chase every lot.
- Decide a budget share per lot so late rounds don’t bankrupt you.
